PC Board Layout and Routing

The MAX8631X/Y is a high-frequency switched-capaci-

tor voltage regulator. For best circuit performance, use

a solid ground plane and place CIN, COUT, C3, and C4

as close to the MAX8631X/Y as possible. There should

be no vias on CIN. Connect GND and PGND to the

exposed paddle directly under the IC. Refer to the

MAX8631X/Y evaluation kit for an example.
