Application Note: Using a 68-Pin PLCC Socket
The XE2420 can be inserted into a socket for a 68-pin PLCC device. The HyPLCC package uses only 24 pins; 15
on one side and 9 on the opposite side. Allignment within the socket is critical for all pins of the XE2420 to
make contact with the appropriate pins of the PLCC socket. The drawing below illustrates how the XE2420 can be
inserted into the 68-pin PLCC socket.
